Over the past week, there had been much debate over the proper term to describe Black Kyurem and White Kyurem in their alternate state. We first reported that they are to be called “overdrive” mode and now we finally have confirmation!
The following pictures were found from the Daisuki Club website:
“We now know that when their emotions are worked up, Black Kyurem and White Kyurem become Overdrive status!”
“Sparkling Blue Black Kyurem” and “Burning Red White Kyurem”.

Doesn’t say anything about how it works in the game, though. I guess we’ll still have to wait to find out whether it’s a special ability or just a visual effect.

Unlike Reshiram and Zekrom’s overdrive mode in BW where they were nothing more than for aesthetic purposes, I think the overdrive mode for Black Kyurem and White Kyurem will be more important.
I think it might be an ability much like Darumaka’s Zen mode? Perhaps increase their attack once their HP is low. Who knows. Hopefully more information about these two will be revealed in the next Corocoro.

Another fan site mentioned that the official Pokemon site said that the “overdrive” mode takes place when the dragons are using their signature moves, “freeze shock” and “ice burn”!

As Frugrow said, it’s likely that it’ll be an ability, like in the description it says that they need their emotions worked up, indicates it as a status change.
(Or it could have the hidden move workout! Jk)

It might just be the same abilty as before though. I still think about Pokemon fusions. Maybe they can fuse pokemon with there abilities. Or maybe there abilities unlock in game events other than the evil team being disbanded. Possibly giving your charter special abilities such as floating or a ceremonies or festivals that are preformed around your Pokemon on certain days. Maybe when you beat the elite four and the champion, you are the new champion and you are summoned to the room to take on challengers to keep the title of the champion, and if u lose, you have to face the elite four all over again and the new champion. I hope you meet N and this time he is on your side and one of your friends like cherern and Bianca were, and he will say stuff like “I have done some things in my past that I would like to forget, but I can’t. Instead I shall help u stop any wrongs that my companions or new (insert a world that takes the place of evil teams) that might destroy or change the world in a bad way. Then at the end of the main game he should save you from being destroyed, bannished or being black out. Then he should give you access to other regions saying one must unite the legends to stop (insert evil tems name) and disappears until you have all the legendaies and helps u take down team (insert evil teams name).

Well, if it’s tied to the alternate formes, then it would be possible (though still unlikely in my opinion), since it would have to go back to the normal forme to trade anyway.

They’re not new Pokémon, just alternate formes of Kyurem (like Giratina in Platinum). Their types haven’t been revealed yet.

I was think something that seems intelligent:
They should let the character be able to actually
go up in the sky and let us use the gyroscope to Fly
to cities and towns
-While in the skies we can find Flying,Dragon,Ghost,Psychic
and Legendary Pokemon.We can find items they dropped
and have air battles with trainers.
Also I would like to have the character make 360′
degree turns,not just up,down,right and left.
Next, Ive been waiting for them to finally make the
characters ourselves

While anyone would like those ideas, the probability of some of them being implemented in the series is pretty low. Here are reasons to support my claim….
1. The idea of finding Pokemon while exploring the sky is neat (and was done in Pokemon Ranger 3). But the problem is the fact that Fly is an HM Move meant to make access to a Pokemon center or town (mostly Pokemon center) easy to heal your team. Also, there would be issues with battling in the sky. First….how would the Pokemon even battle? Only a flying type or a Pokemon that levitates can fly. Otherwise they would just fall. Before one brings up the fact that there were Underwater battles in Generation III, I think that’s a small exception. You were barely underwater to battle in that game (well, unless you were looking for Relicanth possibly) and perhaps Pokemon are just for whatever reason able to breath underwater longer than humans. I don’t think many Pokemon float though….Also, how would things work if a Pokemon uses Gravity. Lastly, chances are the Pokemon that can fly is already being used to Fly (I don’t think you’d want to get into battle directly and take damage as well as your Pokemon
). The idea is cool, I agree on that. But there are too many limitations and complications with it to be implemented.
2. The trainer moving 360 degrees than just suddenly switching directions is a good idea I guess, but it could turn out badly. Some might find the game slower and get frustrated with having to wait for the character to turn. I think this idea works better on games with 3 dimensions (okay, “2.5D” games that LOOK 3D) rather than only 2D.
3. Making our own character is a good idea. They’ll probably have a default look and name anyway, but yeah, maybe they will do that eventually. Who knows? Problem is they might need to set aside quite a bit of data to accommodate for all the possibilities of the character’s appearance. (Backsprite, overworld sprite, Front sprite, various animations for each, etc.)
4. There are simply too many trainers in a game for Actual Talking to be in much of the game. Plus, I think many would just simply find it annoying at some points. I personally feel happy with just text and music.
5. Ah, the popular “all the regions should be in one game” idea. That is very unlikely to happen for a long long time. Why? Gamefreak is a business who will want to continue making profit from the Pokemon series by continuing to make more and more Pokemon games. If they did this kind of game now, fans would probably complain for another game when many new regions are created. If it is ever done, it would be done as a “end of the franchise” finale game. But even then, all the maps, all the trainers, all the Pokemon, and not to mention the highly updated graphics/animations we’ll probably have are probably going to end up taking up LOTS of space (Maybe even too much for a cartridge to handle). At least we have a World Tournament for now, but it’s going to be a while until we get something like that…
6. They could reasonably decide to change the Rare Pokemon encounter rate….just depends on what they decide for that.
7. We’ll probably get a Battle Revolution game…but maybe not THIS generation. Just depends on how things go in terms of new Pokemon games. But I do support this idea.

I agree that thry should allow you to travel to other reigons, also they need to bring things back like the battle tent place in pokemon emerald. Also they need to stop with the non wi-fi events, I can go to game stop but toys r us is 400 miles away from where i live, its not fair to ppl like that. Black and White Kyurem are confirmed Dragon/Ice. And making overdrive a new ability will be crazy, as it will most likely be just for animation.(Like Reshiram and zekrom’s overdrive) It would a completely irrational idea because it would make the game incompatible with BW, just like what giratina did in platinum. Also it has been said that it gets overdrive from emotions. this would probably be an anime only thing, like aim for the horn or Charmeleon dieing when its tail is put out, neither of which could happen in game.
Another thing is freeze shock and Ice burn, which overall are two bad moves. The charge time of these moves makes it a clone of sky attack, another fail move. Luckily we still have ice beam to rely on, so it doesn’t matter much.
I also wish they’d give him something like 680 or 700 BST. I’m not sure would it would be though so whatever there.

I think that the tubes get the electricity/fire from the tail to their body so that they can use electricity/fire to attacks, in the movie.
In the game I think that the tubes are there fixed, since it would be kind of strange if the pokemons got the tubes in the middle of the fight. Anyways, I think that some abilities could be removed

Yes, there are going to be things like that in the movie. I saw the trailer and I think that the new attacks look awesome. The attack from reshiram could be transfered to kyurem. Well, I hope so since I waht to put these moves to my white kyurem: Blue Flare (140), Ice Burn (140), Draco Meteor (140), and Outrage (120). I think that these moves fit the pokemon well since it is ice and dragon, but it has a connection to reshiram, since it gets the power from reshiram
