It appears that Pokemon is still a big deal in Germany because on February 26th, the city of Hamburg hosted the biggest Pokemon event ever in Germany to celebrate the upcoming European launch of Pokemon Black and Pokemon White.
Nintendo organizers rented out this huge gymnasium to host this once in a life time event in Hamburg. It looks like a Pokemon rave party!
Upon entering the building, the lucky attendees were presented with some free stuff! VIP attendees were presented with this exclusive poster featuring Reshiram and Zekrom.
Regular attendees were handed a free pack of Pokemon trading cards from the Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver series, Reshiram and Zekrom stickers, and a poster.
Many Pokemon enthusiasts arrived dressed in their favourite Pokemon cosplay outfits. The Reshiram cosplayer looks amazing!
A Pokemon costume contest was held and these were the winners! I thought the Zoroark costume was a professional that Nintendo commissioned for this event. O_o Amazing!
There was also a live band and musical acts that performed for the crowds.
Snivy, Oshawott, and Tepig were joined on stage by some familiar faces! What an epic gathering!

And Australia gets ignore again. XD It looks like it was a really cool event, though; it’s always fun to look through Pokemon event photos, especially since some of those costumes are amazing.
