Whoa! This announcement totally came out of left field! An new ad has begun running on the GameFaqs website and has announced the Genesect event, which will start next month!
The Genesect event will start on October 7th, which is the launch date of Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 in North America, and ends on November 12th. At the present time, information on the Genesect is scarce but I suspect it’ll be identical to the Genesect that was distributed in Japan last month.
Since the ad also mentions a broadband internet access as a requirement, this leads me think it’ll be a Wi-Fi event instead of an in-store one. 
It’s a bit weird that they’re officially revealing Genesect before Meloetta since Melotta’s Pokedex entry comes before Genesect. Hopefully, Nintendo didn’t forget about Meloetta!

I think if you send genosect to your original black white games, you can still get his items from the scientist as well as get them on black white 2. So you could possibly get all 4 if you have black then get white 2 or have white and get black 2

I don’t understand why people don’t like using legionaries. That is beyond stupid. They say that they seem to be an easier way to win, but that is not at all true. They say that they’re ridiculously powerful but, that is defiantly not always going to . As you know genesect, keldeo, and meleotta start off very weak. Pretty much as weak as normal pokemon. They have to be trained just like noramal pokemon. I hate when people just let legendaries sit in their PC boxes like nothing. Legendaries are still pokemon. They’re meant to be used in battle. Once again I say that legendaries defianitly do not always cause victory. I’ve seen a whole team of legendary pokemon crushed by a magikarp and a shedninja using strategy. It shows that brute force isn’t everything. Strategy and brute force work together. I don’t understand the way some people think.

has anyone attended the BW event meloetta @ gamestoop? if you have, you take it to the alley in castelia where you got tm flash, go in the cafewhile meloetta is in your party, and talk to the guyw/the guitar,and meloetta will come out and want to learn relic song. learn it beacuse it switches meloetta’s form and w/ the form change, it inflicts damage and givs it the best speed of anyfighting type. the change makes it rock type.

Actually, the Meloetta event ends the day after tomorrow, for those who didn’t already know. I can’t remember where, but when you take her to a certain place, she can be taught the move that allows her to change forms.
